With Iran's share of 9.4% of the world's gypsum exports, it is evident that Semnan plaster accounts for approximately 4% of the world's plaster. This highlights Semnan gypsum's significance as an export commodity, particularly due to the high purity of its mines, making Semnan gypsum synonymous with Iranian gypsum in the international market.
